GOAL 2 - LIVING THE DREAM

Real Madrid beckons for Newcastle’s favorite player: Santiago Muñez (Kuno Becker). Whilst his fiancée (Roz played by Anna Friel) plans their wedding in Newcastle, he realizes every footballer’s dream and gets to wear the legendary white shirt alongside David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Raul. Mirroring the paths of many football legends before him, Santiago, in the second part of the trilogy, basks in the glory, the acclaim and the money, only for this illusion of happiness to be shattered and his life destroyed. As the fame hungry, avaricious and beautiful Jordana seduces our aspiring superstar; his past is closing in to catastrophic results. Set against the backdrop of Real Madrid, Santiago discovers the ugly face of success and begins to lose his career, his friends and most importantly Roz.

Mientras su prometida Roz (Anna Friel) organiza su boda en Newcastle, él se dispone a cumplir el sueño de todo futbolista y se viste la legendaria camiseta blanca junto a David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane y Raúl. Siguiendo el camino marcado por otros astros del balón, Santiago, en la segunda entrega de esta trilogía, se rodeará de la gloria, los aplausos y el dinero; pero sus ilusiones y su vida podrían hacerse añicos. Cuando la ambiciosa y hermosa Jordana, sedienta de fama, seduce a nuestro aspirante a Beckham, todo su pasado estará a punto de desmoronarse. Con el Real Madrid como telón de fondo, Santiago descubre la cara menos amable del éxito y comienza a echar a perder su carrera, sus amigos y, lo que es más importante, a Roz.
